Freddy Mac
Freddy was born in Youngstown Ohio, but moved to Canada with the family when he was 5. His Canadian Dad and American Mom eventually settled in Saint John where he spent his high school years. Once he graduated “Freddy The Actor” spent 5 years on the road (Regina, Halifax, Charlottetown, Winnipeg) acting and singing his way to an empty bank account. Freddy eventually made the leap into radio in 1993 in Summerside PEI. From there NB came calling, when he was hired as CFNB’s last morning host. Since then Freddy’s been waking up Fredericton for 32 years on Capital FM, The Fox, and now Bounce Radio. He lives in Marysville with his Reiki Master wife Natalie. While radio is the main gig now, Freddy has also appeared on stage with TNB and has adjudicated the Provincial Drama Festival on multiple occasions. He still teaches Improv comedy classes on occasion. Some of Freddy’s favourite things? Watching his son Jack curl. Playing with his dog Mojo. Walking. Spending time at his PEI cottage. Working out. Mediums and the Afterlife. Quantum Physics, and, last but certainly not least…his job… because it never feels like one.
Mark Roberts
Mark has been a mainstay on Fredericton radio for over four decades. He's currently the morning co-host along with Freddy Mac on Bounce 105.3. The duo recently celebrated 25 years on the air together. Over his career, he has served a number of roles in broadcasting , including a news and sports reporter, and host of a weekly East Coast Music Show specialty show. Mark is an active hockey player, and a fan of most sports. He is also an avid reader and fan of true crime shows and podcasts. Mark was born and raised in Baddeck, Cape Breton, and currently calls the village of New Maryland home.
