Battle of Britain will be held on Sunday, September 15th. Members from the AFAC 102 Wing along with members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #26 will march to the Centopath on Prince Street to honour those who faught and served in the Battle of Britain. This year marks the 84th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain. The service will begin at 1pm. The Battle of Britain was one of the major campaigns of World War II fought between 1940 and 1945 by the RAF and Allied Air Forces. Wreaths will be laid by members of the 102 Wing and local dignitaries in memory of lost members of the Air Force and Canadian Air Forces. A fly pass will take place during the Ceremony. A reception will be held at the 102 Wing at 22 Cottage Street after the service.
