Trail Arts Council presents the hilarious “Hot Flash” comedy tour on Friday, March 7 at 7:30 pm at The Bailey Theatre. The show that puts the funny in women's issues to celebrate International Women's Day weekend.
Headliner Syd Bosel is a stand-up comedian who spins hilarious and relatable tales of “adult” children, being married for 1,000 years, surviving breast cancer, and other glories of nature.
Helen Schneiderman opens for Syd sharing the good, the bad and the ugly to get you laughing. Helen got into stand-up comedy a few years ago as a way to get off her couch. Now she’s so busy performing, her couch misses her.
Opening the night is Nelson-based Michelle Hart, a two-time recipient of the Pat & Tony Freedom Fund, Outstanding Sketch/Improv Productions from My Entertainment Weekly, and was featured on “JFL42 Sirius FX Just For Laughs Festival”. She has worked as a cast member for MSC Seaside, The Second City, and Bad Dog Theatre Feature Players. Michelle has opened for Julie Kim, Jane Staton and now can’t wait to open for Sydney Bosel.
Enjoy a night of laughter with these fabulous female comedians! And bring your male friends too - everyone is welcome.
