Established in 2004, the Grand River Motorcycle Ride for Dad has raised over $2.8 million dollars for the fight against prostate cancer. The proceeds from our annual events are invested in ground-breaking prostate cancer research and life-saving public awareness campaigns of the disease and the importance of early detection.

PRE-REGISTRATION: Beat the Saturday morning rush and pre-register Friday, June 5th at the Waterloo Legion Branch 530 (316 Marsland Dr). Enjoy a Legion BBQ lunch with a special Ride For Dad price! 

2026 Grand River Ride For Dad:

  • Registration fee provides RIDE FOR DAD flag, entry into the Poker Draw, Breakfast at Moose Winooskis (While quantities last), Prize Draws and BBQ Lunch at the Waterloo Regional Police Association Hall.
  • All participants who register ONLINE must still go to Pre-Registration June 5 or Registration June 6, to collect their Ride For Dad Flag, Ride Passport Book and Wrist Band (entry to the parking lot is with wrist band only)
  • Police lead parade followed by a self directed poker run through the Waterloo Region countryside.  The route will be well marked and the route will be provided at registration in the Ride Passport. Approximately 180 Km.
  • Passengers wishing to participate in Poker, pay full registration fee, which includes Breakfast and BBQ Lunch. Passengers MEAL only ticket is $10.00

Raising $100 in pledges or donating $100 yourself gives you a tax receipt AND your contribution supports Prostate Cancer Research here, at home, at the Grand River Cancer Centre. Please seriously consider the positive impact you can make by registering with more than just the basic Ride Fee.

Registration fee: $40 before Ride Day, $50 on Ride Day or FREE with $100.00 collected in pledges.
