Fredericton’s Meals on Wheels army of volunteers delivered over 100-thousand meals last year.
The majority of those went to clients who without it, wouldn’t be able to continue living in their own homes.
But it’s not just about the food....
For many, the driver may be the only human contact that person will have that day. And that connection is so important. It helps alleviate loneliness and social isolation.
